    1. What is it like running 9 miles on a cruise ship? 2. How about an easy run in May or June when I am in Chicago? 3. How about dinner and or a beer in May or June when I am in Chicago? (I may meet up with some of those tapermadness folks while there too)
Considering that the running track on the ship was only 0.1 miles, it was basically like running on a treadmill with better scenery. Except that treadmills don't rock back and forth, and you don't have to dodge waiters with trays of pina coladas. On the plus side, with all the running I did on the ship, I never felt guilty about the all-you-can-eat policy. Blush Speaking of running and eating, I'm game for 2 and/or 3. I don't suppose you have a GPS map of what the run on a ship would look like.

A year or two ago there was a guy who ran 100 miles on a cruise ship and posted it to the Ultra list. I wish I had the post, I would forward it to the group.
"Long-distance runners have to be very strange people. You have to really want to do it. You don't have to win or beat someone, you just have to get through the thing. That's the sense of victory. The sense of self-worth." ~Ted Corbitt
