... or perhaps even further.
Good catch. I always views years in my head as a line with hashmarks. It gets me in trouble.
There was a point in my life when I ran. Now, I just run.
Back beat, the word was on the street That the fire in your heart is out I'm sure you've heard it all before But you never really had a doubt

Fast is better than long
I'm selectively nostalgic...
I like simpler times, but I am OK with indoor plumbing and Mr. Gores web of tubes
I like travelling by car down a two lane, but sometimes you need to get to Vegas faster than that
I like stasis, but some changes just gotta exist.
As to everyone being nostalgic, I'll bet folks of color, not purple and pink necassarily, are all that nostalgic of 25+ years ago.

The final group of qualifying for Brazil begins this afternoon in Honduras where a national holiday has been declared to welcome the USA. A draw is about all that should be expected. I would guess the USA will soak up pressure and stay rather compact hoping to free Dempsey and Gomez on the counter. It appears we will open in a 4-4-1-1 so expect possession to run through Zusi and/or Bradley. Also expect Jones to be worthless. Timmy Chandler will be USA tied in about 90 minutes so whatever the result we have that as a positive. Surprised that neither Eddie Johnson or Altidore are featured.
I'm leaving the office in about 45 minutes to enjoy so I won't be able to update. I trust you'll have your own sources.
Giants sign Romo!

Got me.
You suck. You should just quit. Jackass. Welcome back.

Slow and steady never wins anything.
Came home from a business trip last night and who would be at the baggage claim but none other than Darth Hoodie himself. Combine starts in a few days.
He looks fatter on t.v.
I did hear a few boos but I don't think he noticed/cared.
Watching Sergio work last year made me feel like a little kid. When he closed out Game 7 I jumped so high that I nearly clocked myself in the ceiling fan.
I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping he has the stamina to be an everyday closer.
Good bye, Wes. Maybe this will be OK, and I'm sure the Pats will adapt, maybe with Amendola. But say what you will about the dropped playoff passes, the dude could take a hit and never took a play off. Broncos receivers will be fucking scary.
Very interesting. Let Welker go at age 31, not willing to match 2 years/$12 million. Sign Amendola at age 27 for 5 years, $31 million.
MTA: Just speculating, maybe they just figure Wes has absorbed so many hits that his cliff will be steep. Hire his 4 year younger clone at a fixed price and run him into the ground the same way. Still, you're on the hook for the same annual salary for 3 additional years, and I can't imagine more production. One wonders if Welker's loose mouth (by Pats standards) was a factor.
Mrs. Train is now in the market for a new away jersey.
This hurts, Welker is more durable and proven. Shocked they gave more $$ to Amendola than they offered Welker. Maybe they will make a trade for Fitzgerald or sign Jennings, I can only hope.
Offensively I still think they'll be fine. Amendola isn't much of a step down as long as he builds the rapport with Brady. I'd be excited to see them sign one of these FA CBs, and they absolutely should resign Talib.
