(3:49:22, unofficial; second fastest marathon for me but off goal.)

Something to build on.  Nice work.

        Semi-retired.

Thanks.  3:44 pace and feeling good with a fabulous Swampy pacer through about mile 20.5, after some rollers.  Then the wheels tried to come off.  I spent the next 2ish miles trying to hold on, hydrate and get fluid in me.  Pacer man took the effort of getting my mind back where it belongs.  Ran in the last 3ish miles, just off pace, but could not recapture the missing minutes.

Yes, clearly something to build on.  Something solid to build on.  I am good.

            Good stuff Trent

I wasn't an idiot today and held my goal marathon pace for the 20 miler, 6:50 pace which came out to 2:16:50. Didn't go all out and felt like I had a lot left, so sub 3 at Boston it is.

              My eye is still pink.

              Not in Chicago

Yes, clearly something to build on.  Something solid to build on.  I am good.

                Nice job, Trent.

You suck. You should just quit. Jackass. Welcome back.

Great job Trent! Two minutes off your PR is awesome!!

Bash...can't wait to see what you do at Boston. You're gonna kill it.

How do you keep your feet on the ground, when you know you were born to fly?

3:53 +/-10 minutes, depending on what's in your head. My bet's on a 3:50 goal, but I might hedge a PR.

Darn. Missed it by 38 seconds. I need to work on my prognosticatory skills. Hey, maybe I could make some money guessing who gets into that Final Four thingy.

Or give up guessing entirely and just run more.

Oh, and, nice job Trent! That's good runnin'.

                        You gotta learn to read.

I had just gotten in from a 22 mile run...i'm glycogen depleted. Give me a break.

But I did actually know that your PR is 3:47...I just meant only two minutes within your PR is great. or something. Shit, whatever. Good race is all I meant Wink

                          3:49:22 - 3:47:35 = 1:47

                          1:47 < 2:00

                          Big grin

                          And: thanks!

                            Yea, i'm bad at math.

Official results not posted yet, at least that I can find.  2:49:20 by my watch, but that's sketchy -- the start wasn't real clear about when it was we actually started, and the finish chute wasn't all that clear as either, but the clock was 2:49:something when I entered the chute.

Had some problems with arm and leg numbness from the broken neck, so 26.2 seems unlikely in the near future.

                              mta:  2:49:33 it is.

Did an angel whisper in your ear and hold you close and take away your fear...In those long last moments

                                Goal: 2:13

I hear it is hilly in the last 10k. So this could end badly.

                                2:11:42

Surprised myself with the time and I definitely left some more time out there. Just wasn't really sure with the late hills how hard it should be feeling at certain points.

                                10k splits were: 43:51, 43:55, 43:56.

A race that I signed up for more than anything to keep me from cheating on any sort of base building over the winter. Seems to have worked so I'm stoked to build on this from here.

Also ran into Daddyo out there mid-race.
