    Yeah you shouldn't be bonking on a 20 mile training run anyway so you wouldn't notice a difference. This was just to make sure you can take gels without puking. Good run indeed. You are ready. This should be one of the largest deltas between first and second marathons the swamp has ever seen.

                Just make sure your Gu is compatible with the sports-drink they are offering on the course.  A friend mixed Gu wth Powerade or something and ended up in the Tardis every 3 miles from 13 on.

                    I suggest drinking chocolate milk while running a long race.  It is has a lot of protein and goes down super easy.  Also comes back up super easy.  Chocolate milk everyone is drinking it these days!  Smile

                      Now on a serious note.  Chocolate milk after the run is a good idea.  Great for recovery.  Chocolate GU is da bomb for your run.  I never drink anything but water on the course.  I've heard too many horror stories about the gatorade or powerade not getting mixed right.  I've worked to hard and long to have my day end badly because someone did not stir the drink correctly.
