I wasn't. Finally, after many years and occasional lurks (newsflash: you guys aren't nearly as Fight Club as a few of you act), I decided to come in and post in the 'culture war' thread when I saw the RWOL invasion fleet massing on the other side of the channel. Because I actually happen to be one of them too, and knew what was what. And, honestly, blame me. These people are here, in part, because I advertised the holy fuck out of this place to get eric more traffic and get the greatest running log ever to more people. I've been told for awhile, mostly by mikey, that the swamp "isn't what I think it is". Anyway. I kind of think it is. That's alright.

So there are a bunch of new kids on the playground. There seems to be some angst over this. Here's the thing, though. You don't have to interact with them unless you choose to. Their presence won't affect your ability to log runs. Their presence will not make it impossible for you to do anything that you're used to doing here. They will not stop you from playing with your friends. They will not steal your kickball. They will affect you only exactly as much as you decide to let them. And there's always the remote possibility that one or two of them might turn out to be cool. Ya never know.

You over-estimate my super powers (C-R is just short for CarmelRunner which took too long to type and people like Bear Claw couldn't spell correctly) I did migrate with the Cool Running folks but tried not to piss people off for the first couple of weeks. After that it was all good.

This is true. But I blame Eric for not having spell check. As great he is he has let me down in this area and all of you must pay for it. That and I don't give a shit if I mispell a word in this stupid corner of the interwebs!
