Skinnyfish, I have to ask since I have several good friends that coach in Spokane. Which school do you coach at? Bill

How about that a familiar name. I brought my girls team to your camp last summer and plan to again this year. I am the Mt. Spokane girls coach. We should have a good turnout this summer and I for one and looking forward to all the climbs, but mostly the food. A friend turned me on to this site about 6 weeks ago. I can't believe that it isn't more popular yet. I think it is great and am planning on using it instead of running log books this summer for my team. One of my athletes, Jessica Klier is graduating this year and would like to be a camp counselor. Is there some process she needs to go through to do this? I also suspect that Megan O'Reilly will try and make it to camp as well. If you are coaching track this spring then best of luck. Sean
My first idea is to get comfortable at 70-90 mpw over the next couple of months
Well, so much for catching up with you ...

Sean, Hey, it's good to hear from you. I look forward to seeing how you handle the Wetmore workouts. He's done some great things at Colorado. Sara mentioned that Jessica K. has sent her an e-mail. That was the correct step. I'd sure like to see Megan at camp. After seeing the runners year after year, it's a letdown when they aren't able to make it. I hope she is healthy for her summer running. I'm already looking forward to camp as well. It's a good time with a lot of great people. I'm glad to hear that you have a large turnout. That makes everything more fun. I was surprised last fall with 30 girls and 30 boys out. It was more than I could have hoped for. It's nice to know that word is getting out that xc can be fun. Yeah, I'll be coaching during track. As I tell the kids, it's kind of like cross country in the spring, since we do a lot of similiar activities. Of course they need to have an unusally large imagination to visualize a cross country course when running around an oval. Bill
