Who is going? I entered the lottery for the Bjorky 1/2M - Leaving me less tired and able to party more Saturday night. If I do not get in - I will sign up for another battle with the old lady. Yes this is about drinking more than running.

Alive & Running
I'd love to but cannot imagine my boss (aka wife) approving this one. I may be able to convince her to drive up there with me and drink an obscene amount of beer in lieu of running.
Is it too late to enter the lottery? We forgot.
How do you keep your feet on the ground, when you know you were born to fly?

A local MN couple that can run like the wind, how do they not give the two of you an invitation and comp entry?
MTA. I'm not being a dick and I have no idea if they send out invites to top runners from MN, but they should if they don't.
The pain that hurts the worse is the imagined pain. One of the most difficult arts of racing is learning to ignore the imagined pain and just live with the present pain (which is always bearable.) - Jeff

USA 1/2M championship race - So it should be loaded with great runners ... and harder to make the lottery.
Likely they would consider Ben and Candice MN elite and either gurantee them an entry or maybe comp them a bit. I am nto sure though as they will be spending a lot of money comping people this year with it being the USA 1/2M championship.

Nah it doesn't work like that for Bjorkland. Most races. But not Bjorkland. Maybe they'd take Ben...but not me.
Bjorkland is super tough to get in to that way.
In other news I did get an elite letter recently from Rockford Marathon asking me to run again this year. heh...i'm only "elite" enough for the smaller less popular races. I'll take it.
DB you gonna run Paavo this year? you should.
Scott W may run the half.
I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.
Poor baby
Depends on what you mean by run?
My goal race of the year will be September 7-8 (Superior 100M) or Septembe 8-9 (World 24 - Poland)
I could possibly come up and half-ass run it. I know I would not be able to get race packet until Saturday - I am not sure if they allow that? We are on vacation Mon - Tue after ... So it would be tough to convince family to invest the day(s) in Hurley.

I think she is an elite drinker at Monkey in my book.
BTW - Have you figured out how you are handling the registration?
Not figured it out yet, but I have some ideas.

It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.
