I think Bash is already registered for 2013. This will just let him move up in corrals.

bhearn with the biggest step for next year's ass pictures thread!
It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.
Sat, 5K, hope for sub-18 Sun, 15K, hope to better last year's 58:50

5K
Thought I had no shot, but working hard in last half to pass as many people as possible gave me a surprise success -- 17:54. Splits of 5:57, 5:55, 5:41, so clearly I need to go lecture those people on that negative split thread about my expertise in the subject now.
15KFailed - came in 58:55, which I figured out last night was 4sec over my PR; whoops. Obviously should have picked it up by 0.5sec/mile. Made good use of other runners to keep from fading too badly. Happy with both race performances. Now if only I knew how to plan out a marathon training plan. Need magic plan to chop 15sec/mile off my PR.
On second thought, plan need not be magical -- just efficacious effective.

As paulygram said (the only one who feels for me) there was awesome racing this weekend; xhristopher rocked the XC, Run to Win met his goal over a crazy course, rozzie, ghostwood, EDRW and heather all ran great, and our hot guys, sully, bhearn, and bash all PRd their marathon, and bash finally BQd, but the outlaw who breezed through, won his race and set a course record over ridiculous loops of misery, greaso84 gets this week's imaginary fucking cartoon Congratulations!
Proofread carefully to see if you any words out.

Blaine Moore (MM#2867)
I gotta tell you Blaine, that looks stupid and painful. I kinda envy you it.
Totally worth it...it's a course that keeps on giving! It's now been 2 days and I can still tell I ran it whenever I get out of a chair or go up or down the stairs in my house...been a long time since I've had that happen.
Run to Win23 Marathons, 10 Ultras, 16 States (Full List)
Congrats, greaso, well done!
if anyone writes up a report on tucson, post a link, I'd be interested to read about the race. its an appealing destination...
Report here. As usual, mostly boring pacing details, but a bit about the course.

I hear you. This may be the worst DOMS I've ever had.

I ran a course PR and a state PR at Honolulu on Sunday with a negative split and didn't die.
And I'm still slow.
And once again Mr. Wizard (aka: Stevie Ray) explains the internet.
some great racing this week, congratulations to all, especially those PRs (and sub 3s (insert envy emoticon here))! if anyone writes up a report on tucson, post a link, I'd be interested to read about the race. its an appealing destination...
