While searching for alterative ways to reduce inflammation. As I can't take the normal anti-inflammatory NSIAD drugs due to both allergies and lack of stomach from My RNY. I came across an article from the 70's about DMSO and its use to reduce inflammation in athletes and horses. I also found some info that ACIa Berry As also having some anti inflammatory properties. Both products are carried by my local new age heath food shop. The living earth. As of right now I am going to try the Acia berry juice and see. As my Wikipedia search on DMSO kind of scares me but I am willing to try if it can speed up this process. Seems archaic that my Dr’s advice was normally we would just load you up on NSIADS then when the swelling and inflammation has gone down we can do something. So just stick with the icing it and we will wait and see. I am not a patience person as most who know me so the month that I have already spent in this damm boot. Is driving me nuts. The title of the swamp right now sure fits my frustration.
So do any of you have any idea’s or warnings if I was to try this. I know there are some very knowledgeable people in the swamp.

I like a nice cortico-steroid injection right at the site of the inflammation, rather than a systemic drug. But it can't be self medicated, you'll need a doc to help you
Proofread carefully to see if you any words out.

In it for the long run..
I know you are desperate (been there) but DMSO will not help you. I actually tried this in the 70s and if you do try it, be prepared to not be able to be around ANYONE for the duration of your use since it causes you to stink like you wouldn't believe. It comes out of every pore. Besides that, it isn't going to help your injury.
