Wuss - you should run it anyway.
I fly.
I would, but I think that I'm being evacuated. It's all just so exciting.
Bring it on.

The proper order is always evacuate first, then run.
I think Globby and Candice would disagree.
Passion is a rather frightening thing because if you have passion you don't know where it will take you.
When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?

25:48, 14th of 50 or so. First medal finish however. 3rd in age group. Out of 4. I've got to race more to get a little better at pacing and monitoring my effort. Could have done better. I'll race again in 2 weeks to see if I can improve on this.
The tangents are moot.
Set the bar low. Crawl under it.

First medal finish -- woohoo - congratulations!
It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.
Not in Chicago
It would appear that you averaged 8 hours per mile in your race. Congrats!
You suck. You should just quit. Jackass. Welcome back.

Hey if it is good enough for 3rd in AG then it is good enough.
Was the terrain like this?

Drink n Run - 5K - Rutabaga Run - Cumberland, WI - Sub-23 I'd like to say faster, but this is hilly, I'm out of shape, and it's only one week after Ragnar. Anything under 23 would be fine by me...

23:04. Hillier than I remembered. Meh... Pretty big positive split after a 7:04ish 1st mile.

4:09:03 I survived. I am happy about that.
Proofread carefully to see if you any words out.

Oddly, this was good enough for 21st overall and 4th in AG. Most of the strong runners run the 12 miler around the lake at this event.
Weird official results, too. Everyone I talked to showed about 25 seconds faster on their watches than the official times. No chips... gun time, so we started watches the instant the gun went off. Not sure what would cause that... Even had I started my watch when I hit the line, I was lined up about 3 rows back, and it could not have taken me more than 2 or 3 seconds to hit the line. I think they screwed up the clock.
Oh well...
dallas8 !
Hahahahahhahahahahahahahahha! Weakest ever. EVER. I am proud to be associated with it.
Congratulations, Dallas!!
Good job on the finish and AG award. I wouldn't want to go out my front door in that kind of heat.
