Hey pREDator (Read 326 times)

Nice race on Saturday! Sorry I didn't see it sooner--I've been away from the computer lately. Sounds like you ran SMART and FAST! What's next for you?
      What's next for you?
Jeff. By the looks of things, YOU are his next target... Evil grin

That's quite a bit bigger step, but....that IS where I want to be! I stated in a couple of post on NS that 1st I would contend for Master status, then Open. People laughed, but it's very early yet. I feel the potential. Anything's Possible. I'm doing Smyrna Lions Run for Sight 5k, East. N. 5k, Strawberry Stride 5k, and try a 10k in Hendersonville, 5/28. Busy month. I Hungry!! Got...to...Race! Evil grin

Maybe I should do that. maybe I should run 5ks instead of 42.2ks. That may help me get faster. pRED is the man!
I'll be watching my back, pRED. Congratulations.

Don't just as much turn your head for a year or two. I swear all the marathon talk has got me wanting to do one, but I think I should wait. Do as planned next year CMM, and go with the Rc & Moon Pie 10 + Nash. 1/2. this year. Never did the 11.2 and I'd like a Tour de Trent sometime in May. Did the 5.8 back in 1980 in 36:06. Was that a "good time" at 15!

Let me know when you want a tour of the 11.2 ! Big grin I'm happy to give you a tour, if you can slow down for me Wink

                Inglewood

Maybe a Sunday after a race. I'll be no shape to go any faster than 9. Plus I have little aerobic capacity beyond 8...and the Hills?

I'll be at the Moon Pie for sure... You're smart not to jump too quickly to the marathon. I ran for 15 years before trying one. Wink

Jeff, you been there before? What's "The Hill" mentioned on website? Is it shady?

I used to live in Bell Buckle--so that's my home course. I've run it numerous times and raced it three times. The hill is not too bad--it's steep but fairly short. The course will be hot and there is little shade over the last 5 miles. But, the last 5 miles is a net downhill, so if you make it to halfway on pace, you can finish on pace...

Just looked at '06 results. Please tell me you can beat "Carrot Top" this go around. Home Race in all, you've got to take it!!

I'm in a lot better shape now than in '06. And he's been injured... I'd like to run around 55:00 this year.
