    GO BROWNS!!!
That's the spirit! Backing a winner is for wimps. Besides, the Browns were awesome ... during the Eisenhower administration. But they'll be back. Oh, yeah. Any day now. These are just "rebuilding years."

Yeah the Browns. Damn. Tough luck crew, Browns fans. I feel for ya. Seriously. Your day will come, keep the faith. Hey if it doesn't work out can we have Romeo Crennel back? He was an awesome D-Coordinator. Back to Berner: so enough about the Brady v. Manning debate...you were at the game right?? How was that?? How loud was it in that frickin place?

As you might expect, its a tale of two halves. Of course, the crowd was awesome as the game started. Bellechick drew the loudest boo-ing I've ever heard for any individual (refs included). When the Colts couldn't match the Pats TD (settling for a field goal) it started to mellow a bit. And, then all the energy went out of the dome when Samuels ran back the interception. During the half-time, the crowd was as bummed as I've seen. The second half was an emotional roller-coaster. Colts claw back to tie, go down a score, tie, go down a score, tie, and go down a score. I was already a wreck by the time the final Colts drive started. When Wayne caught that pass that popped up in the air and came down in his hands, the crowd was deafening. Neither I nor anyone in our section could even hear the ref calling the personal foul for roughing the passer; in fact we couldn't hear the PA at all during the last two minutes. Finally, the interception at the end put the crowd over the top. I've been to quite a few big Colts games (Chiefs playoff game this year, Steelers playoff last year, the game Peyton broke the TD record) and nothing compared to the frenzy after the pick. Everyone was high-fiving and hugging total stangers. Crazy stuff. I'm jealous that you Pats fans got to experience that and more so many times, because there's no better feeling. Big grin Here's me, Dad, and two brothers after the game while we waited for the trophy ceremony. Good times. Smile
