Fast is better than long

Congratulations to the Schneider Sweep Team - well done.

My vote for Eight ball-against-the-rules is Allyson Felix.

Allyson was impressive, but Manteo Mitchell, now that's a candidate for Eight ball-against-the-rules

This week saw a small lot of contenders and they all fought like troopers through their own trials. Some of them had bodies revolting against them, or training or good old mother nature, but they all made it through to the other side.

AP gets a seasonal best and in Track +1

TRC came away from the race richer than before +1

Willie runs a great trail half and comes in second with a solid time +1

Ilene wins the age group and melts in the sun +1

I like that AP is still getting faster, but "Hey, I just defended my marathon championship!" has the ring of a Eight ball MFEB winner. Congratulations to Candice for pushing Ben around the course for his 7 times defending championship and a second straight husband wife sweep of the Paavo Nurmi marathon. Hopefully, without surprice this weeks winner is the shorter half of team Schneider. Well done.

              Congrats Candice (and Ben)!

Welp, I ran on tired legs per plan, but could have done without the 98 degree heat and long course. Roll eyes  A blazing 28:46, but 1st in age group, so I've got that going for me.

MTA: official results are up and it was a blazing 28:46 instead.  Big grin

Jeez.  I'd have passed out somewhere in the first 10 minutes! Well done, that's good going for a cat servant.

                Also congrats to Willie too!

Everyone seems to be winning or placing rather high.  It's disconcerting for us non-racing hobbyjoggers.

Congrats, Candice and Ben! Well done, indeed!

It should be mathematical, but it's not.

Well deserved Eight ball for Candice!  Well done and congrats to both you and Ben!!

                     +1. Congrats, again, guys.

In it for the long run..

                      Congratulations and well-deserved!
