      Current Goals: Run

        Ridgewood 10K

        sub-41:30

I'll have to race much better than I've been racing.

Seanv2, 5k, Al Goldstein Summer Speed Series.

Goal? 22:10. This might be overly ambitious with how tired my legs are of late.

Finished in 21:49 for a pretty sizeable PR. I am happy with this. I am starting to envision what it'll be like to run one of these bad boys in under twenty minutes.

And hell of a job, Bad Dawg! You are running so well right now!

Have you qualified for Boston? I want to interview you!

10mi race this weekend. I'll say I'm trying to PR, just for the heck of it.

Heat & humidity are good, right? 1:03:44 goal.

It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.

I was in the low 21s when I started chasing sub-20. You're at least as trained up as I was when I went for it. Go for it.

                    Nice going, BadDawg!

Yeah, I remember a lot of discussion when you were shooting for sub 20 about learning how to race the 5k. I am definitely at that stage. No clue what I am doing out there, but I'm learning. I hope to chip away at it this summer. We'll see where I am at come the fall.

And Congrats runpd! Can you get an 8 ball for a DNS?

Quint just reminded me of a 5-miler the morning after the 10-miler we're doing. I'm probably in for it as well. Last did it two years ago, at a slower pace than I'm shooting for in the 10-miler. 32:00 to beat my previous time; 31:24 to PR the distance.

It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.

We have a clue, maybe even two or three.  The more I race, the more I identify those clues. As you continue with the race series, you'll see what I mean.
