Plus - Lets face it, you either win, are Dead last of a mid-pack jogger ... I like choice #1 for a goal.
SELFISH, like you.
On Sunday I'm running the UnitedHealthcare sponsored Half Marathon that is part of the Amica sponsored Marathon but let's just call it the "Newport, RI Half Marathon."
According to DB's rules I'll be jogging this one as a mid-packer so let's just say 1:24:30 to keep me honest. If I do that you'll know the course is short.

I'm throwing my jogging pants into the mix for this weekend (don't worry though, I'm wearing manties underneath).
My jogger event is Whistlestop Marathon on 10/13. Goal will be to jog, hobble and shuffle my way to a PR, which means 2:48:42 or a few seconds faster would be saweeeet!!
After the race I'm going to consume an incredible amount of beer. So much beer that I'm packing bail money. Anyone know what typical bail rate is for Ashland, WI?

10miler on Sunday. Goal=PR. I'm even gonna taper and not race on Saturday so I don't have an excuse.
It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.
Just do not multiply you offenses - Public intoxication is < Public Intoxication + Public Urination + Battery + Obstructing and Officer ... So be a happy drunk and pee in the bathroom
If I know anything about small towns in Wisconsin, this is not something you will ever get arrested for.
How do you keep your feet on the ground, when you know you were born to fly?

I always love the goal = WIN; I'm not willing to bet against it.
50 miles is like a jog in the park for you; I'm sending up a couple Chicagoan to keep tabs on you.

Hmm, there's no mention of streaking and/or skinny dipping while intoxicated, so maybe Candice is right and they don't actually care what I do after 10+ beers. Game on, Ashland, game on!!
Hello fellow joggers! It's fall racing season and just 5 of us are racing this weekend?
I raced 4 times in September so I'm taking a 2 week break before racing the last 2 weekends of October. Meanwhile you have a 20% chance at the IFCEB, don't knock it.
Runners run.
I hate 2 things - Rabbits and being cold and wet ~ Saturday - Sunday morning we are to get 2-3 inches of rain and it looks like it is to keep raining during the race. The trails will be slippery and muddy ... good thing I dd not set a time goal.
Temps are suppose to be an overnight low of 56 and then steadily dropping temps during the day. I have not been doing a drop bag for a 50M, but I might put a light coat and gloves into one.
