I have no idea what kind of shape i'm in, a couple good weeks, a lot of so-so weeks. I guess we'll see come Sunday.  As with all winter races weather will also play a factor.

Goal - don't run a stupid race, run close to even splits, and if I follow the first 2, then I will run 3:10.

In it for the long run..

            The Greaser

Cowtown 50k fort worth, Texas. 2/28/10. my first 50k so maybe 3:38:00 and 1OA sound like nice humble goals. Snowing again in Dallas today so hopefully better by Saturday. Races of all distances, HM looked most competitive but already PR'd in that this year. And don't think legs are ready to break 34 for a nice 10k PR yet. So yes, i'm a wuss for dodging better competition on hilly-ish course and getting a soft PR in a distance I've never run before. Www.cowtownmarathon.com

                Hyannis Half, Hyannis, MA

                2/28/10

Finally get to beat my soft Half Marathon PR. Goal - 1:23

Snowman Stampede 10 Mile, Littleton, CO

Goal: sub 65, top 15OA, don't get dropped by Dakota again this year!

                         I will run 3:10.

                        Dude, you deserve it.

I hope it happens for you. Good luck!!

                            Nice! Kick some ass.

I'm in the business of misery...

                              +1

By the way, you will have no problem achieving that last goal. I'm gonna skip it this year. It's a fun event, but I'm just not feeling race-ready right now. But I think you should change your goal to at least sub-64!

                                Hyannis Half, Hyannis, MA

                                2/28/10

Finally get to beat my soft Half Marathon PR. Goal - 1:23

Weather report says 31-39 with 30% chance of rain and 1mph wind, not that i'm obsessed with it or anything. If thats the case, we will both meet our goal.
