Grandmas and the Bjorky Porky (Read 1151 times)

You liked Apple Ale?  I'm afraid to try it.  I have a hard time imagining a good flavor, but maybe I just need to suck it up and try it.  It is New Glarus, after all.

    Think of a Gueuze.

    It.

    Is.

    Awesome.

NG does fruit well. Very well. World class well.

#62. Weyerbacher Papa. Care of the Beer Fairy, Mr. Finn. Not bad.

Thanks - I will keep it in mind.

If I did - It would not be the big party it should be.  If our family is in Minocqua Fr - Tu to boat etc - I might be able to get up early - Come run - Have a quick beer with you and Ben at one of the many strip clubs and then drive back.

Just kidding - But it would be a quick in and out affair anyway.

We could pick up your packet if you decide to come. We'll be up there from Thursday on.

Scovil will be up there - Last year he was in rare drinking form and I would predict the same this year -

If I do not make the lottery I will sign up for the full (Which I really do not want to run) - But DW is very understanding - But to go up to Duluth to only drink on Father's day weekend ... would be pushing it.  I do get up ealy Sunday and hit the road to spend the afternoon with the kiddos.

Very cool, but not surprising.  Bhavna and I were talking about driving up there to cheer.  Dave M is going to run the full so we'd definitely like to be up there to support him.  We'll all have to figure out some good post-race drinks and food.

Would be nice to see Scovil again.  Maybe I can convince my wife to be DD so I can throw down with Scovill.  I think the last time I saw him was at FANS last year.  We'll look for you to come blazing through to a fast half marathon time (or at least decent if you're not fully recovered from FANS).

When do we find out if we're in? the 27th? I don't wanna do the marathon...
