2010 Goals... (Read 1566 times)

We've Got Big Hills

    last night i did it -- 1022000.

all that hard work really paid off.

That is a very significant PR.  Congrats.

What was the secret, they wanted to know; in a thousand different ways they wanted to know The Secret. And not one of them was prepared, truly prepared to believe that it had not so much to do with chemicals and zippy mental tricks as with that most unprofound and sometimes heart-rending process of removing, molecule by molecule, the very tough rubber that comprised the bottoms of his training shoes. The Trial of Miles; Miles of Trials

    Inhale

Looks like I wisely resisted laying down any goals for 2010.

      I'd say I'm doing grate.

Yes, I do "run in this."  So should you.  The weather is never as bad as it seems from behind your office or car window.

          1)  Run more than this year (easy bar but a necessary one)

          2) Beat this year's race times and stop a 3-year steady decline in race times (again, should be an easy bar but I could have said that last year too)

How times change.  I already accomplished these.  I upped them to beating the bunny, then 2500 miles, now 3000 miles (and on course for that).  Race time goals are in my sig, I feel I'm on track for those too.  How the heck did that happen.  Somehow running weaseled its way in as a life necessity again.

2012 goals:  Fastest race times since 2006.

I achieved none of my goals for 2009.  I think my only goal for 2010 is to not set goals.

Damn.  I should have listened to myself

yeah but I never knew that meant it would put me in some sort of WWE half nelson.

2010 goals not yet met and still have work to do.

Great job R2E, that just makes me sad that I kicked my Tetris addiction back in 2007.

Not too late to write off 2010 yet
