I am with PH and L Train on the 1:35 half....not sure how that's going to work out- my recent 1:37 nearly killed me.
21:30 5k
44:00 10k
I have a mileage strategy- I am running less this year in order to make it easier to increase my total next year!

Prince of Fatness
Come to Allentown, PA in April and race with us. If you lose you will be ridiculed. Incentive enough?
There is a long dark road ahead of me.
Okay, I'll set them down now.
5K - sub 19:30
Marathon - BQ (which would be either 3:15 or 3:20 if I run it in the Fall)
Half Marathon - sub 1:35
2,500 total miles for the year (1800 in 2008, 2170 in 2009 - seems doable)
No Injuries
Run half my mileage barefoot or in my VFFs
Actually do some upper body work to tone up a bit
We've Got Big Hills
Goal: run more!
Right now, with today's total, I am on pace to run 5511.5 miles in 2010! That sure would be MORE.
I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.
Poor baby
Hometown AG win.
PR in every distance.
Run 3000+.
Keep the streak alive.
Drink slightly less, but better. (Dunno that this will start this weekend. )
Get to and hang @ -150, hopefully by February.
Dabble in upper body/core strength training.
Meet some of you IRL.
I Can Go The Distance
Stay injury free
2800-3000 miles for the year
Finish the Palos Verdes Marathon (first one in 30 yrs.).
PR in 5k and 10k races
Maybe finish in the top three in AG (60-64) in a few races.

marathon in November.
I gotta ask...which one?
THanks for the invitation, but I have a 10k in Toronto on May 2nd., so will be concentrating on that in the spring.
THis year there is a wave start, much better than releasing 12,000 runners and walkers all at once. Based on my previous times I will start in the first wave with the big boys and girls, so should get to see some real runners take off into the distance!
I don't feel I will have enough miles by May to run a fast half as the winter weather always makes Jan and Feb low months, some years early March is bad too, so the attempt at 1:35 will be in October.

Jeff, your time for 5k and goal time for the marathon would indicate a faster half than 1:35 would they not?
the unrunner
if you don't run, you'll rust. [tom petty] ..... i just wanna get back on track, even if it kills me. [motion city soundtrack] ..... if i only could be running up that hill, with no problems. if only i could, be running up that hill. [kate bush] ..... still running in place [alkaline trio] ..... at least i'll try and run, and run tonight, everything will be alright [the killers] ..... don't give up the distance. [flavio the magnificent]
Space Coast Marathon
I wanted to run my first marathon with friends and coworkers. Running the Goofy in January after that.
I've already told the Mrs. that I want to run the Monkey, but I need to get more miles logged before I subject myself to the monkey torture test. Maybe 2011.

A wise move.
Very wise.
