For me it's generally after a goal race...maybe my immune system lets its guard down? I seem to get healthier and less likely to be sick the more I run.

Don't run while sick. It makes your race SUCKASS and also you get sicker and then you can't move.
I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.
