BEER ME (Read 2905 times)

i sacrificed the gift

Dude.  I had one on 2/22/2007 at 9:50 PM.

Man.  I am out of my league.  I am not nearly a serious enough beer drinker to log my beers down to the minute.

Had a Guiness vanilla float.  I took a picture.  The picture has a date/time stamp.

I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.

      Poor baby

Awesome I am going to try it with guinness.  I don't know why I had never thought of it before.

Had a new stout tonight, O'Hara's Celtic.  3/5 stars.

It's not really beer, but I am enjoying some ginger ale I made. I have some lager in secondary fermentation. I am swearing off commercial beer. For a while. I guess. Bell's Two hearted ale and Surly Furious are my two favorite commercial beers.

It will be good. I promise. A california lager, but I'll call it an Ok Lager.

Just brewed me a scrumptious tasting oatmeal molasses stout.  Can't wait to drink that one.

Do you homebrew? That is pretty awesome.

I just got Flying Dog's Barleywine (horn dog) which is new to me, but I love barleywines.  I don't think I'm ganna crack it open tonight having already solo'ed a bomber of Chimay red though.

Heh.  We had a carbuoy of apple wine once that smelled like a nasty loaf of bread....yeastiest thing I ever smelled in my life.  We didn't need the carbuoy right then so we stuck it in the corner.  Nine months later, we needed it so we popped the air lock to dump it and realized it didn't stink anymore.  We figured we should taste it before dumping it out, and it was pure gold.  Three people selected that batch to serve at the head table of their wedding.  Gotta wait for the finished product!

I was reminded that I claimed the brew smelled AWESOME when I first walked in the house that night. I was wrong. He is right. He is always right.

I think she did not like the smell of the leftover dregs after I racked it off primary. And left said dregs sitting open for 24 hours or so. Oops.

This is waiting for me to get home.

There is a long dark road ahead of me.

I'm checking out for the day...peace out, playas.

I picked up ones of those Samuel Adams Brewmasters cases tonight.  The Wheat was pretty smooth, the Noble Pils is going down now.  A bit sharp but tasty.  It'll slow me down.

I NEED to find a better beer store than Wal Mart or the local drunk-and-need-to-go-to-the-closest-overpriced-store-for-beer place.
