New chapter forthcoming
Interesting. I know that there's a big following but there are many beers I'd choose before Guinness. I wouldn't turn one down but don't find it to be anything special.
You're not anything special.
Time for the relaunch. Stay tuned....
Your face is not anything special.

We've Got Big Hills
There used to be this brewery in Louisville called The Silo, and the brewer was a serious whale with a nightmarish beard. The best beer I've ever had in my life was a Scotch ale that that whale dude created.
It was okay.
I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.

I love this.
Hey...you uh...wanna get together tomorrow night for some wine?
With New Castle being the common denominator between the two groups.
I saw that.
Prince of Fatness
Oh, don't be so bitter The Thunder. I didn't say Guinness sucked. It is better than Bud, after all.
There is a long dark road ahead of me.

Rumor has it that the gang in Cupertino is releasing an iBeer but you can only order it from your iPhone with a specific app. Effing geeks. More importantly - are we running this weekend Spaniel? and Thunder's comments on Guiness are almost man-crush worthy.

I'll recheck the email, Saturday right? A lot is going to depend on the family. I'm in Chicago for a 24hr work trip but the baby is not being easy on the wife. If I think I can get away for a few hours without losing my balls I will try. It's supposed to be freakin warm this weekend I think.
The last Guinness I had was from a can. That does not do Guinness justice.
I just pounded out my longest treadmill run this year. I think I'll go see if this hotel has a bar and see if they have Guinness on draft.
2012 goals: Fastest race times since 2006.
New Belgium 1554. It is jet black and very malty, but thin and very drinkable.
I also like the stuff from Dogfish Head and Three Floyds (especially Robert the Bruce).

2011 Goals: Don't set too many goals, stay healthy, race lots, 2 sub 4 marathons (Derby Fest 3:54:43 and Monkey fail- 4:16:21) "If you run in a tutu, you'd better be ready to win in a tutu" -The Skootr
It was very good but not as good as the real deal.
My Belgian favorites ... Rochefort 10 and Wesvleteren 12 if you can get it. Rodenbach if you like red beer.
And the 10 and 13 refer to the alcohol %. So they give a mighty fine buzz at the end of a hard week.
We had a very decent local (2 miles away from the house) brewery Old Dominion that was bough out by a larger one. Still their stuff is decent - an English style ale and their porter was good too.
