Sorry Skootr, it was getting a little thick in here. You'll be better off just teaching him/her early.

Woooohoooo! Congrats to Ellyn! And you too. But she's doing the work now, your 10 seconds of glory are over. Just remember the next time you are tired after a long run she made a million cells.
The hair cut is good too. But so....conventional! More sommelier than punk band.

Ennay- The hair is conventional now, but I'll make more. By the summertime it'll be long again. And for the record, even though my wife is the most amazing women ever in the world, her being pregnant most certainly does NOT preclude me from continuing to flirt with you on a fairly constant basis.
Wrigley, Wila etc: I do plan on ruining this child's life with the great "Cubs Hope" I figure, shit, my dad refused to do it to me, but both grandfathers were ready to pickup the slack, so why fool myself. Hopefully I can get this kid into cross country young...I wish someone had done that for me.
CANDICE! I really wanted to tell you early, but I figured, you'd also love a surprise...between running and kid, it's gonna be a great year!
As for fall racing, we'll see, but I have been officially cleared for Monkey and NYC (should I get in the lottery) if I don't get into NYC, I'll probably just run the local marathon, or something in indianapolis or some such shit then monkey in the fall. I gotta say, I think keeping running will still be pretty damn consistent, I have a fairly freakish job that allows for such things....and Ellyn is actually very into me running a lot.
Thanks to everyone...especially H Street for realizing how adorable my hair is

Congrats!
I have a feeling I'm going to regret this, but nonetheless...
L Train, what's behind that little ol red x?
“Once in a while you find yourself in an odd situation. You get into it by degrees and in the most natural way but, when you are right in the midst of it, you are suddenly astonished and ask yourself how in the world it all came about.”

Hey - is Ellyn "out" with this news now? I wanted to congratulate her on FB but noticed nothing was up about it so didnt want to spill any beans.
If you don't mind, do it in a PM to her...she's pretty much out with the news, but hasn't told her second job yet, and doesn't want them to find out via internet...
