Congrats to you too, TeaOlive, awesome job; 50 miles on a dark trail.  Smile

Proofread carefully to see if you any words out.

T.O.: Congrats. (I think darkness+trails sucks - which is one reason I'm not brave enough to sign up for 100k+.)

I also am very happy to have not had to suffer through any ultra in rain.

Scoring big PRs in serious rain sounds quite rough - Congrats WG!!

It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.

Thanks, but only the last lap was in the dark.

            The King of Beasts

I thought you were supposed to be super clever like? 58 minute 100 mile PR, about a 4.5 mile 24 hour PR. I also think I has a sweet hour in there where I put down 2.5-3 miles. It POURED rain for most of the race and all my back up clothes got soaked, and I just froze my ass off throughout the night. It was miserable. Plus the chafing is record setting. On the plus side, Mrs Bock is the best race support ever. She and DB took incredible care of me after the race when I couldn't stand and was trying not to puke on myself. They are really good to me. I could never have done this on my own.

              holy fuck.

              thats tough as hell.

                OMG Wrigley. Are you human?

It's 8:09 in Phoenix and I'm hitting the bloody marys hard. This should have me back to feeling human any minute now.

that's the start of a pretty good country song, right there.

This needs applauding.  100 miles in 17:32:00 and 128 in 24hrs is really amazing.

Trying not to be trite, but it's the amazing accomplishments that call forth the most obvious reactions. I am just so impressed.  Great work, Wrigley.

Thanks all, but this is kind of a rough one. 131 wasn't just a random goal. It was what I would have needed to make the National Team. There are still a bunch of 24's on New Year's Day where I could have been bumped from the sixth spot, but yeah. I wish I hit that 131.
