2000 miles of of whiny ass babies who should run more FU

NFL 2012 (Read 761 times)

That awkward morning after Aaron Rodgers doesn't have a very good game.

SF would be a huge favorite, I think, if they hadn't blown up in Seattle.

"Way to make Borat look overdressed"

So much for my pick that SF/GB would be the best game of the weekend. It was a good game (for 3 quarters) don't get me wrong, but holy shit, the Bal'more/Denver game kicked ass. And Kaepernick is a beast.

Manning throwing a pick never gets old, 9-11 playoff record, yikes

Agreed -- first time i've seen K play. The kid is like a video game. I love his energy, too.

K took up about 3 miles of long run conversation this morning. The first time I saw him play was Nevada vs. Boise State in 2010. One of those deals where I'm flipping channels and these two WAC teams or whatever are playing on ESPN 2 at like 10pm on a Friday night so I stop to watch a little and can't look away. This was when Boise was like #3 in the BCS and everyone was talking about them crashing the BCS party and Kaepernick basically singlehandedly dismantled them with huge 2nd half comeback and beat them in OT.

Of course I also watched him take apart the Pats earlier this season.

He reminded me of Vince Young, only twice as smart.

He reminds me of Vince Young only way better. Like Vince Young in college, except he's doing it against NFL defenses.

Yeah that's what I meant... Though early on VY had some games where he looked like he could be that kind of QB in the NFL. How fast is Kaepernick? NFL safeties were taking all kinds of bad angles out there...

                      "Bal'more".  Is that a thing?

I missed both of yesterday's games.  I suck.  But I've seen K play and yeah there's a reason Alex Smith is on the bench.

And once again Mr. Wizard (aka: Stevie Ray) explains the internet.

The guy also had a 4.0 gpa in college.

On the AFC side I'd like to see Denver beat Baltimore and New England Beat Houston, then Denver beats New England to make it to the Super Bowl.

On the NFC side I'm undecided. I don't like Atlanta and I'm ambivalent about Seattle. I guess I like Green Bay a little more than San Francisco, so maybe Seattle over Atlanta, Green Bay over San Francisco, then Green Bay over Seattle.

Then a great Super Bowl battle between Denver and Green Bay with Denver FTW.

                          OK, so I'm 0-2. Let's try this a again.

AFC: New England over Houston, then New England over Baltimore.

NFC: Seattle over Atlanta, then San Fanciso over Seattle.

Super Bowl: New England vs San Francisco with San Franciso FTW, although I could go either way on this one.

                            Awkward...or more like awesome.

Same thing as last year for the Packers:  If Rodgers isn't nearly flawless, they lose.  He clearly didn't have a great game--much like last year when they got bounced--but no one in this state is giving Kaepernick his due.  Everyone is complaining that Capers should be fired.  It wouldn't have mattered who the coordinator was, when Kaepernick is playing like that, you can't win.  Save for the interception, he was throwing some effin' lasers out there.  That combination of passing and running can't be stopped.  Now, it's possible he won't play at the same level again, but if he does, how do you stop that?

Another year with the Bears and Packers ending up with the same result:  Not-Superbowl Champs.  Kind of makes me smile.

There was a point in my life when I ran. Now, I just run.

Back beat, the word was on the street
That the fire in your heart is out
I'm sure you've heard it all before
But you never really had a doubt

If I"m saying it, it's a thing. It's just how the locals there pronounce it so that's how it always sounds in my head...so I write it that way on the internets.

I can't believe Seattle is about to pull this off. Also can't believe Atlanta is about to collapse this bad at home.
