Welker's awesome, very white.
The Logic of Long Distance
I've moved on but in Welker's defense I just wanted mention that right before the dropped pass he got the snot knocked out of him on a blow to the head that was flagged for 15 yards and the replay showed he went rag doll for a second (although he managed to hold on to the ball.) So even though the ball hit his hands, at that moment he may not have known his own name or had the fine motor skills to squeeze it.
Anyway, the better team clearly won.
It was striking how different that defense looked once Talib went out of the game, which only points out how many holes they had. Once he was out of the game Baltimore drove down the field and scored at will.
Runners run.
Not in Chicago
Poor Ridley??? He is a Running back, 11 people on the other team are trying to take his head off on every play. Hold on to the ball.
Pretty sure the dude was unconscious, but hey.
You suck. You should just quit. Jackass. Welcome back.
Absolutely and I don't know the exact rules, but it's interesting that he's allowed to stay in the game after being so obviously dazed with all the new concussion stuff. Welker's going to have a tough life in 15 years.
MTA: My money's on him getting paid but for a shorter contract then he'd like. But I bet he takes it.
Dumb post.
I am shocked that NE beat Houston. Shocked. Does anyone like Phil Sims as an announcer? Anyone?

Well, he's better than listening to Joe Buck and the undead corpse of Tim McCarver call the World Series. So there's that.
I am pretty sure he was out, too. Oh and that Pollard hit on Welker was nasty!
Good times never seemed so good.
You are remembered for the passes that you dropped and not the dozen or so great catches you have made during the season.
This is very true and I think Welker has spoiled people into thinking he can catch anything, every time.
Were any of you at the game? Wondering how much the wind affected
the passing game.
Also, I can't wait for RL to retire. the amount of coverage they put on him, you think he was a frigging saint or something.
Bunch of thugs the Ravens are. IMHO. I mean good defense is one thing, but how that wasn't a direct helmet to helmet hit for a penalty on the running back is beyond me.

Not when the RB initiates the hit.
Wes Welker's wife. I kid you not.
I bend over like that sometimes when my back goes out. Hope the poor thing is OK.
I can't tell from that picture if she is a pain in the ass.
I think it was more incidental than anything. Ridley was bracing himself to get hit. That wasn't the smartest thing to do.
Quite possibly a pain in the ass, or maybe just a FB overuser.
I've wondered about this. It might be a stretch that a byproduct of the new rules would be telling ball carriers to lead with their head to draw penalties, but I wouldn't completely disregard that possibility. In effect, the new rule could be causing helmet to helmet hits. Sometimes I wonder how a DB can get low enough to hit someone like Welker or Amendola when they go low.
One that's annoying and confusing to me is that when a guy hits someone in the chest, and physics results in his helmet making contact with the facemask and a penalty/fine. Now we've got James Harrison saying he's just going to start taking out people's knees as a result.
I feel like I've already written this pages ago, so forgive me.
