Offensively I still think they'll be fine. Amendola isn't much of a step down as long as he builds the rapport with Brady. I'd be excited to see them sign one of these FA CBs, and they absolutely should resign Talib.
Ya offensively they should be fine if they stay healthy but Hernandez Gronk, and Amendola aren't durable. Then again the AFC East still stinks so that helps.
Still weird to me. Amendola is younger but he's not (to date) as good as Welker and yet they just gave him $6m / year for 5 years whereas they wouldn't go $6m / year for 2 years for Welker? Welker's brain must be mush or something and the Pats must not think he's got 2 good years left.
