Apparently the Patriots players believed, like I did, that it was not possible for a Pete Carroll coached football team to beat a Bill Belichick coached football team--that if that were to happen, it would tear a hole in the fabric of the universe, and that everything we know, and the entire universe itself would then be sucked into that vortex and implode leaving a black hole where the universe had been.

But the it happened and we are still here. At least I think we are.

Aside from the obvious coaching superiority of Carroll, the Seahawks had to be favorites due to the QB matchup.

True, plus NOBODY makes rookie QB's look good like the Patriots defense. They are in a league of their own in that regard.
