      Prince of Fatness

        My name is luca
I live on the second floor
        I live upstairs from you
Yes i think you've seen me before
If you hear something late at night
Some kind of trouble, some kind of fight

Just don't ask me what it was
Just don't ask me what it was
Just don't ask me what it was

        I think it's 'cause i'm clumsy
I try not to talk too loud
        Maybe it's because i'm crazy
I try not to act too proud
They only hit until you cry
And after that you don't ask why

        You just don't argue anymore
        You just don't argue anymore
        You just don't argue anymore

        Yes i think i'm okay
I walked into the door again
If you ask that's what i'll say
And it's not your business anyway
I guess i'd like to be alone
        With nothing broken, nothing thrown

Just don't ask me how i am
Just don't ask me how i am
Just don't ask me how i am

Ella's pretty smart, she could figure it out.  Plus she's smart enough to make Ethan do all the work and he's a good worker.  Addy would pretty much just sit there and scream but if that's OK with you I'll book the tickets.  Or would Midway be easier?

Gee, I wonder what I could do to improve my race times.

Platform racing shoes. Please post video.

It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.

Originally I didn't buy tickets because I had the father daughter square dance tonight, which has been cancelled due to snow removal operations on the roof of the gym where it was supposed to take place.

Now I'm just glad I don't have to go out in this shit, though it would be cool as hell to see that men's mile.

                  Runners run.

Also, sometimes I think it would be a pretty good goal to try and get into that mens masters mile one year...but that would require actually a.) getting in pretty sick shape, and b.) actually racing the mile one winter like I always say I'm going to but never do.  Maybe quitting marathons would.  Even if I finished DFL it would be cool to say I ran in the meet and to hang out in the green room with the real athletes.

(I'm just daydreaming here, don't mind me.)

Well, this is the first year (in how many? Not sure), that you're not running the marathon.  Next winter is essentially a full year away.  Why not dig in now and go for it.

There's also the Hartshorne mile races on the dead Cornell indoor track in January as a tune up.

                          The process is the goal.

Sorry, this is probably a dumb question, but going from marathon training, to maintaining a strong base, when would you start training for something much shorter, such as the mile?

Mike, is that Joe O. from the old Dbk? (I mean how many Joe. O's run for Somerville?)

                              Also, $100 says you've got a 4:49 in you.

For starters, sometime after I've broken 17 for 5k.

The other answer is that in a way I've already started (I ran 241 miles in January, look at me!) but that whether my goal for December is an indoor mile or some other damn thing the training wouldn't be any different today.
