I was hoping for a little better, but I got a mug so I'm happy. I was even happier after I filled that mug with Guinness.

Say...was there supposed to be a footrace in New England today, or something?

Ya good day for all, the Kid killed it.
1:28:02 for me on about a month of training. Happy its coming back.
1:19:50 for me. I'll take it, all things considered.
for EJ (if it's not Nads.) The Kid would walk away with it if he'd just posted a goal, alas.
Runners run.

Close. 17:31. It was a weird race...all twisty and turny at the beginning with a couple of log jams/complete stops in the first 1/4 as people tried to figure out the route. I ran in 4th place for most of the first mile, then took the lead right after the first mile marker. One fella stayed right with me until mile 2, but then he dropped back (i did not pull away, alas). Ran the last mile alone--which was hard.
1st OA. Never happens to me...so kind of a cool feeling.
Looking forward to hearing more about NB. Good running all...
You should go get the clap just so you can give it to her. --beef
SELFISH, like you.
1:22:56 for me. Missed the PR by 4 seconds but that PR was on a course .1 shorter so... I'm happy with the fitness and glad to to have ducked under 1:23.
Nice to see so many running well this week.

My racing outside my comfort zone is done for the year, and this might be the last race I ever do in March. Weather reports placed wind chill at -2 or 3. And I don't like the cold. So I left the watch in the car and just went and ran.
Overall, though, I'm not upset with the time given the conditions.
There was a point in my life when I ran. Now, I just run.

March Madness - 13.1 - 3/17 - Goal =PR (<1:22:07) Probably a long shot as I haven't been focusing on speedwork much. I'll just pretend I'm prepared to race this and hope I don't realize what a dumbass I am until I finish.

I just picked up a copy of Chicago Athlete magazine after swinging by my LRS this afternoon, and who was named male athlete of the month? Flatfooter!!! Very nice job, Mike!

C'mon already!!! What the hell did Drunkass run?
He should get to reveal his own info, but I did just look it up on Cool Running, and yeah, DAMN! Wow.
I put it under there.
Scary fast.
I just looked it up.
Holy. Smokes.
Also, I'd like to point out that this whole race was crazy fast. I know where the good runners in NE were this weekend.
