NFL 2009 (Read 1427 times)

True.  Only the schools on the poor part of town don't have textbooks.

So the solution is to spend tax dollars on professional football?

And as soon as Labrat moves to Tennessee to hang with another one, her tune will change.

Sounds like it was only one school and apparently the principal forgot to order them.

It's not the heat, it's the stupidity.

When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?

Shocking.  I bet there was a pretty active DnD club too, right?

Nope.  This was after DnD.  But we also had a fencing team.

The school was Saint Francis High.  For real.  In Louisville.

I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.

      Poor baby

Redskins start on Sunday against the Giants with Titans escapee big Albert Haynesworth hopefully earning some of his $100 million + contract ... that could have bought enough books for the entire state of Tennessee. But what would a bunch of southern rednecks do with books anyway? Fuel a bonfire?
        The process is the goal.

Doesn't mean it wasn't the Titans fault.

We also had a laser tag team.

            Varsity laser tag?

The school was Saint Francis High.  For real.  In Louisville.

"St. Francis High School is a coeducational, Independent (ISACS accredited, www.isacs.org; member of NAIS, www.nais.org), interdenominational college preparatory high school, located in downtown Louisville, Kentucky and founded in 1976. Currently, there are approximately 130 students in grades 9 through 12.

and a whole lot more equally eye popping statistics HERE."

Tiny little prep school, summer camp, elite universities...currently a med school professor.  It's been a tough road eh?

              We've Got Big Hills

                Heh.

And: assistant professor (as low as it goes, unless you count instructor)

                New chapter forthcoming

Doesn't mean it wasn't the Titans fault.

I blame Vince...more specifically on his bad attitude, and poor throwing motion.

Time for the relaunch.  Stay tuned....

Textbooks? Are you trapped in 1974?

In order to receive appropriate indoctrination, the only equipment a classroom needs these days is a television.

if you don't run, you'll rust. [tom petty] ..... i just wanna get back on track, even if it kills me. [motion city soundtrack] ..... if i only could be running up that hill, with no problems. if only i could, be running up that hill. [kate bush] ..... still running in place [alkaline trio] ..... at least i'll try and run, and run tonight, everything will be alright [the killers] ..... don't give up the distance. In our county the powerful and militant Librarians Union controls the budget.

Large, well equipped libraries funded by the taxpayer are in every community, and schools have all the latest textbooks.

Meanwhile the owner of our professional football team only has a single helicopter.

There were even fewer students when I graduted from there, and I suspect fewer still when the other Trent did.

“I used to be a runner. Uh-huh. Not a marathoner. A runner. Marathons are bullshit. They’re all hype. Some official picks a random day, and rain or cold, you’re out there pounding the pavement alongside 50,000 other dumbfucks. No. There’s some things it’s better to do all by yourself.” Augustus Hill, Oz

                          Nice Ass!

ESPN is actually getting all melodramatic and serious about the Titans stepping on Pittsburgh's  widdle terrible towlies last year.

It's gonna be a great season!

Who's playing QB for the Titans this year?
