    Give a man a fire and he'll be warm the rest of the night;
    Set a man afire and he'll be warm the rest of his life.

    What in the Jehu?

        I can't believe you couldn't find a half marathon in all of LA.

          I can't be all predictable and stuff....

          Anyway, I am prepping for a marathon and Runner's World magazine says I have to run some 20 milers.  I figure 20 miles the day before a10k is better than 20 miles before a 1/2.  Who says I don't follow a training plan?  Cool

            So can anyone join this thread? Vern's No Frill 5k coming up on 1/19, will like to PR (21:57). Wondering if my weekly interval runs since Nov had done me any good...

              Hey, that's more plannin' than I usually do.  Do they give you weapons in the homicide division?  'Cause that'd be cool…

              Fatass 55K for the random interloper this weekend.  Should be an entertaining one, as entry requires not just one but two DNR waivers.  I think the second one just says, "We'll get your body when the snow thaws if the cats haven't eaten it."  Yassine Diboun did it in 4:51 last year, so 5:30 seems like a perfectly unrealistic goal for me.

                So when was he last seen?

                Swampstomper 50k (32.6 miles), Sunday 1/20, Memphis TN.

                As of the last report, the entirety of the course is ankle deep-mud and/or shin-deep water.

                  goal 4:44:30 and have no one dnf because they can't spend another second with me.  I prefer they speed up when that feeling inevitably starts.

                    Well it can't be both.
