How do you keep your feet on the ground, when you know you were born to fly?

    break'n three

Having a bitch of a time trying to account for the tailwind in Boston.  Training has gone well, racing has gone pretty well and I feel pretty good.  I'm just gonna pull a number out of a flying monkey's butt and say...2:53:00 @ Green Mountain Marathon

Best of luck to everyone racing this weekend, especially at Baystate.

May the road rise to meet you, may the wind be always at your back, may the sun shine warm upon your SPF30, may the rains fall soft upon your sweat-wicking hat, and until you hit the finish line may The Flying Spaghetti Monster hold you in the hollow of His Noodly Appendage.

Baystate Marathon ...Sunday Oct 16th...well this is what I had in mind when I began the training cycle, but none of my tune up races put me even close...Screw it...go big or go home right...Sub 3hr...this would be a 28+ minute PR...this is either going to be amazing or the blow up of the century

          Bay State half marathon <1:23

Eric if I have anything left, I'll double back for ya

Mount Desert Island Marathon - 10/16

This is my last long training run before my 50 miler in 3 weeks. General goal is a BQ (sub 3:05) but I'm not going to stress if I fall off pace and if I'm near a buddy that needs help hitting a different time goal I'll probably just run whatever pace they need.

Thanks Bash...I'm probably going to need all the help I can get

Eric, I'll cheer for you from the sidelines.  I'm sure I'll have nothing left and sure as hell not enough to run sub-7's as a cooldown.

                      Runners run.

Thanks Mikey...Any help I can get to keep me moving through the painfest is welcomed

Dayum, that is going big.  Just remember if you make pain your friend, you'll never be alone on a marathon course.  Run tall, race hard and finish strong!
