Hey SurfNRun, I invented a new game. Wanna play? (Read 5357 times)

Others can play too. It's called, "Guess who wrote this in their running log." Here's how it's played. I quote something that I snooped from someones running log, and you guess who wrote it without peeking.

One of the best features of RA is how easy it is to make all your training visible to all and how much peer pressure there is to let your running log be public. Some people don't put much in the notes section but others practically use it as a diary.

Okay ready? Here goes: With all the frustrations this year, I never thought I'd get here. I'm feeling great and need to stay sensible. Who wrote that in his/her running log? This may be an easy one.

MTA: For fuck's sake people, you're allowed to peek now.  The no peeking rule became obsolete like 2 years ago.

    I du! (+CX +Mtn.)

Muse...? I know it wasn't me, because in order to stay sensible I'd have to be sensible in the first place... I should pay more attention to what others write in their logs. Most of my comments are made when I have crappy runs. I'm usually speechless after the really great runs. k

      • more off-road

      • gain proficiency @ CX mounts and dismounts (ie stop leap-frogging w/people who ride slower after every obstacle -- finish further up the field)

No, alas muse's log is not public. Not a bad guess though.

I'd guess it's mikey. It sounds like the fru-fru stuff he'd write.
Ha! No, I'm not shameless enough to quote myself. Well..yes I am but I didn't in this case.

This kind of fru-fru? Anyway, do we get anything for guessing right?

                You'll ruin your knees!

...need to stay sensible...hmmm, that leaves out Trent...(along with a number of others) I'm guessing ... Lynn B

Indeed, 'twas not I. Speaking of sensible, I ran a HM today on grass. I'm a crazy bastard.

I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.

You've been spending too much time with the hippie. Half-marathon...on grass. You described the workout as a "jaunt in the joint." Hmmmm...
