2000 miles of spasmodic fucktardts 20200013

Hey SurfNRun, I invented a new game. Wanna play? (Read 6190 times)

No. You have to be a serious log-stalker to know. We may just have to pass on this one...I just thought this dude needed some press coverage. His log is classic.
Well while trying to be a serious log-stalker, I found a couple gems I thought I would share.
      Stomach Pain from laxies
      and
I WAS FLASHED FOR THE FIRST TIME ON THIS RUN

Passion is a rather frightening thing because if you have passion you don't know where it will take you.

When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?

      You'll ruin your knees!

This is a tough one. I'll give a couple clues...not a member of the 2000 mile club. Screen name indicates a possible gender identity crisis. From the log: "slightly depressin that all my short term goals are getting smaller and smaller. but if it achieves the long term goal kei te pai. the long term goal being to rule the known world."
OK, for the third try on this stupid game...Runnergabe!

Nope. Neither of these two are in the 2k group.

Um...me? So not only did I organize a small trail race with only slow people so that I could get an easy win, I was also quoted in my own running log snooping game thread. It's been quite a big-fish-small-pond week for me.

                Runners run.

purely by accident - I just discovered that distance - race feature - saw it for the first time. When I saw the field placement, I took a closer look. Just wanted to say nice job - that's great that you took the time to organize a race - I don't care what size it was.

I think I killed this thread by going too obscure (sorry Mikey). Anyway, the log I pulled the quote from is this guy. He's a one-liner champ and might just be more demented than anyone in this group.

How in gods name did you ever find his log? I never seen him post anywhere. This guy is quite the writer. He belongs here.

Actually we had like 100 people last year (year 1) but totally slacked off in the recruiting this year. It's just as well since it's a free event so smaller numbers means easier logistics. I actually had almost no work to do in year 2 except to jog around before the race and paint white arrows on the ground...turns out two cans of marking paint would have been better than one which is why I was a bit worried we might lose a runner or two. So I felt it my responsibitly to lead the way despite have run 20 the day before. 2nd place was a woman too, so there was the fear of getting girled in my own race driving me too. Big grin Mishka: that guy is a trip. It seems like all kiwis are a bit off. Good people, them.

He showed up, out of the blue, at the top of the 1500 mile club list. I don't think he's ever contributed to a forum or anything.

more, more! where are all of our log stalkers?

What can I say. MP all the way. Slowed a little the last couple miles. This was the last long run before Baystate in 2 weeks. I'm shooting for 8:15 first mile, 7:49 per mile for the rest, 3:25:00 for a total time. The 30k 2 weeks ago almost killed me but I finally feel strong again. (That which doesn't kill use) I think that it made me stronger that ever. I have never trained for anything like this ever. The last 9 months have been the toughest of my life. This is the best shape I've ever been in and I haven't felt this good in 20 years. I really think I can qualify for Boston my first marathorn. I had know idea when I started running it would be this tough. I was so nieve. When I started running 2 years ago I had know idea what was ahead for me. I can't believe how much my entire outlook on life has changed. If I can do this anything is possible. I really feel their is nothing that I can't accomplish if I put my heart and soul into it. I've wanted to run Boston ever sense I watched Salazar run up heart break hill 20 odd years ago. That was the first time I went into town to watch the marathorn. Then I friend of mine that passed away last year from cancer that ran Boston every year for 30 years told me that I could run a marathorn if I wanted to. I just had to train. So here I am 40 pounds lighter and ready to go. I would like to say that I am doing this in his memory, and I sometimes think about him when I run but that wouldn't be the total truth. I'm mostly doing this for myself.
