Dopple Bock sent me a PM with his goals for his race this weekend. I guess that his internet access is limited. Anywho, here they are. Good luck, DB!

"parts unknown" = Oxford. Duh.
You're killing me. The event is Oxford something or other 10K. Event names don't always include the town name. It could be a sponsor company, it could be a person. How the hell do I know? If it is not dumbed down for me I put parts unknown.
I have put a limit on how many brain cells I will use to run these threads, and I am handicapped to start with.

Thank GD you are here to translate to useful units.
Reminds me of the discussion I had with my PT. i was mentioning a 50K I was considering and it was a remarkably long discussion for me to convince him that if 5K is 3.1 miles, then 50K must be 31. Hot, but math is not his strong suit.

Translation wasn't really my aim... more to highlight that it is a fucking long way. Some of us (more traditional countries) use imperial measurements... sometimes.

Purdey, pay attention here. See how this is laid out for me? Now if the town would not have been specified it would have been wrong to put Bright Hope.
Let this serve as an example of how to post your race.

We have a race thread dictator folks. Straighten up or suffer the wrath.
Whoa. Has anyone ever won an on the basis of their goal alone? Not that DB would go for that.
Good luck Mikey the Pig, you non-web havin' madman.

42:00??
Never ran a 10k. Know nothing about the course. Assuming it's fast, but also not sure how to race a 10k. Maybe just run really fast and hold on for dear life.
Last year 42 would have been top 5. I hope i'm sandbagging this, but I just don't know.
