7/21 - Volcano Village 1/2 Marathon - Volcano Village, HI - Goal is sub 1:27.  This will be at altitude and the day after a 13hr flight.  Sooo...there's no telling how things will go.

7/22 - Some 5k in Hawaii - Hilo, HI - Goal is sub 19.  This will be the day after my 1/2 marathon...and just a couple of days after a 13 hr flight.  Smile

7/24 - Some other 5k in Hawaii - Kona, HI - Goal is sub 18 and an OA win.  Not a lot of fast guys on the Island.  Would be fun to win a race there.  Smile

      Thunder smash!

8/21 - Wellington Road Championships (New Zealand).  I'm doing the 5k.  Goal is sub 20.

Don't forget to factor in the humidity!

Don't forget to factor in the humidity!

It will actually be cooler and less humid than I've become acustomed to in Tennessee.  Believe it or not.

The pain that hurts the worse is the imagined pain. One of the most difficult arts of racing is learning to ignore the imagined pain and just live with the present pain (which is always bearable.) - Jeff
