I could possibly be talked into the relay. Less than an hour from my in-laws. $25 / team is nice - though it is Albany in deep winter.

Every loop you must chug a beer to keep warm.
I did it last February as a long run, and will probably do it again. The views are pretty parking-lot intensive......you figure it out. It's a local race for me. Doing a beer a loop doesn't sound like a bad idea.

This is less than 3 miles from my house. I was toying with the idea of doing the full, but if there's a spot on a swamp relay team, count me in. As Walt said, not the most scenic race, but well-run from what I've heard.
Driving to Albany in February to run laps around a parking lot? Sounds like loads of fun but I will pass.
Besides Jones 10-miler is the next weekend in Amherst.

Beer, the original sports drink. Not a bad idea at all.
