Lost MOJO! No way! (Read 343 times)

Me and my gang in Breck

I don't think anyone here has lost their MOJO baby! I found my MOJO and I'll never lose it again! Mark

I'm 99.99% sure I never had any mojo to begin with. So I'm not missing mine.

      Runners run.

Lost my MOJO back about 10 years ago....trying to get it back this year! Of course it's taken me 8 months to get used to running at altitude!

I've lost my Mojo guys... I really have. What do I need to do to recharge? Sure I'll put the miles in this week, but the fervor is gone. I just don't care. Should I run a garbage 10k just to slap myself in the face with reality? What do you do when your motivation is in the toliet?
running until I hit 1900 miles for the year. whether fast or slow I will just run.

          Prophet!

What do you do when your motivation is in the toliet?
flush it down...new one will pop out soon enough Wink

I enter and aim for races...not too far in the future, though!

Run for the fun of it. Ad-lib some new routes. Go out without a watch for an unspecified distance and an unspecified amount of time. Run some trails. Or through mud. Or through snow. Run along a beach, in the sand. Challenge a pack of 10-year-olds to race you on their BMX bikes from the front of the school to the fire hydrant on the corner. Get some extra sleep. Brush your teeth with the wrong hand. Whatever you have to do to keep moving forward. I find that my competitive ambition waxes and wanes...and it's best to just stay ready.

HAH! Do you poop your crappy demotivation off of a surf board? Waves are like eternal flushes...

Stay ready.... ready schmeady. I'm going with the manana approach. I need the little squiggley above the first "n"... how do you do those thingies? Anyhow I'm in mexicali... manana = tomorrow. Like some horrible film maker said "Betta Luck Tomorrow"

Mikey I'll try the toothbrushing tonight. I'll let you know if it changes my MOJO. BTW those trail mix MOJO bars by powerbar are pretty tasty!
