Haven't raced in a while, so it's kinda odd to think I might PR, but I sorta think I can. Would be happy with a course PR of under 57:30.

Those terms look mismatched - here's what I expect them to mean (and after all, the world revolves around me):
course PR = Jeff's best performance on course
course record = best performance of any (male) on course
It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.
oh
fixed it
Yeah a friend of mine ran 49 something there last year, so no course record for Jeff.

10 weeks ago Dr told me running is bad for me, quit running and take plenty of shots of cortisone.
This is not a race for me and might be an upcomig seaso of personal worsts. I don't care.
I want to do something official so I can say, "Guess what Dr. Dontgivearip, running suits me just fine."
Quit running...maybe next time
Not in Chicago
Would be happy with a course PR of under 57:30.
This run will not fall between 60 and 90 minutes.
You suck. You should just quit. Jackass. Welcome back.
Good thing I'm not marathon training! The odd thing is that my training has been pretty unfocused and erratic lately, but weirdly I feel like I'm in great shape and have had some of the best workouts of my life in the last couple weeks.
Of course good workouts are one thing and racing is another, but it's just strange that there is like an inverse correlation into the amount of thought I put into my own training and the results I am getting in training. (I should say, though, that I was pretty serious about my weekly tempo this summer when it was HOT and I think I am kinda reaping the rewards of that work now.)
>1:30:00
Aiming for my first sub 1:30. Based on my recent races and a pretty good training cycle, I think its on. PR (1:36 in 2004) will almost certainly fall.

This may sound strange, but it is my first trail run that is less than a 50K. So time goal is a little bit of a swag, but after running some of the course Sunday , it is definitely hilly single track with some technical features. So I'm basically putting in my 10 mile PR + 25 seconds/mile. This may still be aggressive but we will see.
