Man. But, you are way ahead of where you realistically felt you were, which is awesome. Great running!
111/10 Soldier Half Marathon Garmin: 2:01 Hands were frozen for the first 2.5 miles.
No alligator sightings.
MTA: Was glad that I wasn't running the full.

OCD If you don't laugh ...
The good: Huge PR at 1:26:15.
The bad: Course measured 12.9 by my Garmin (I heard 12.8 to 13.0 from other finishers)
The ugly: Thought it was my wait in the corral for a 45 min delayed start, followed by a short, non-cert. course (was supposed to be certified, but that note went missing from the event website when the final course was posted Tuesday), and none of the promised pizza. But Jeff's story takes the cake. He's more gracious about it than I would be too.
So the PR I'll take as 6:42/mi pace, which I extrapolated to 1:27:46 for a full 13.1 (maybe a little generous). I felt like I ran a smart, conservative race, and probably even had a little left in the tank at the end.
So what's left for this year? About 325 more miles and I can sink deeper into this swamp. (I'm looking forward to the membership card, towel service, free daycare, and 1.5x mileage bonus.)

Finish and a new post arthritis best of 46:11. I ran with a friend who is also struggling with injuries and at 3 miles, we were on a 50:00 pace.
Friend and I were behind some pigeon toed striding, ugly hat chick that was making my eye twitch and had to risk it and make a dramatic pace change. Finished 4th place master. I'm not dead yet.

Columbia Track Club Heart of America Marathon -- 53rd running, Labor Day 2012
nobody's racing on 11/11?
Ahhh, was going to come in and excitedly tell all about my shiny new PR and realized I never mentioned I was racing. Woops.
Anyway, I raced today on 11/11 (in Korea this is a 'mini-holiday' created by a candy company that makes these little chocolate covered bread sticks called "Peppero". Hold two of them side by side and you get the whole '11' thing. Special day... No, really. I mean, who can resist chocolate covered 11s?!).
Anyway, Busan Dadaepo 10k race: 4th place out of ~2270 and a 35:57! 4 second PR over last week (this course was pancake flat) and met the season goal of a sub 36. All unicorns and rainbows and chocolate-covered Peppero sticks over here in Korea.

Congrats J-Lee-C! - and I don't see how you can be the slowest anything, much less 외국인, which that kind of speed.
It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.

Yeah, good for you, Willie!
Thanks!
And some Kenyans have started descending on Korea so my ascension into the higher ranks of 외국인 speediness has been a bit stunted recently. Maybe if I can ever figure out how to properly combine kimchi and ugali into a superdish of unadulterated speed...

Proofread carefully to see if you any words out.

Once you master farting kimchi, super jet-propelled sub-34 is all but guaranteed, surely?
Would love to break 1:30, but am dealing with a lot of doubts on this one
1:32:54.....not what I was hoping for, but still a PR
How do you keep your feet on the ground, when you know you were born to fly?
break'n three
Thanks Candice! I will definitely keep on trying...
Flatfooter 11/11 10 miles Northwest trail run Crystal Lake,IL <1:07 or top 3. This may sound strange, but it is my first trail run that is less than a 50K. So time goal is a little bit of a swag, but after running some of the course Sunday , it is definitely hilly single track with some technical features. So I'm basically putting in my 10 mile PR + 25 seconds/mile. This may still be aggressive but we will see.

Well, I failed on both goals, but am happy with my race effort. The course and the competition were a lot tougher than I expected. Came in with 4th overall and a time of 1:08:40. The winner in 1:04 something ran a 2:36 marathon a month or so ago.
2013 Goals: Run trails.
