Let's see 'em.
The Logic of Long Distance
Not me...but on the front page the internet version of our local rag was a picture of this guy - Tim, who wins every single damn race on this side of the state. I skipped the caption, but I'm pretty sure it read: "Ha, ha, ha, Kevin. I'm out running and I'm going to beat you again tomorrow. Sucka."
But Och! I backward cast my e'e, On prospects drear! An' forward, tho' I canna see, I guess an' fear!
A Saucy Wench
I'm so confused by this picture. I see lots of snow, but not much on the roads. You mean in some states they do something about the snow other than wait for it to eventually melt?

Digging out the space between the cars that was totally filled in.
One of the many drifts.
Proof that Gina helped shovel (for like 10 minutes).
My street at about 3:30pm still not plowed. They finally plowed us out at about 5pm.
Runners run.
Hey, no fair. How come Mikey didn't get any snow?

Blizzard...
.
I put it under there.
Here's one I took out my front door last night before I went to bed--this was just about when the storm kicked into gear.
That's a cool one. I thought of you guys while out on my tempo this morning, 40 degrees and sunny. Made sure to run it good for ya.

Hey MIkey, why aren't your vehicles in the garage?
And y'all ran without shirts? Now that's just grandstanding! Picture!

I didn't run without shirts -- that was Hunter, and he regretted it.
OK, here's a pic. I just finished shoveling my driveway. We some snow so it took a while.
Offical number reported is 32" snow, which seems about right. For reference...the fence is about 4 - 4.5' tall. It doesn't show well, but looking forward from the hood of the dark car, you can see the general snow level is about hood height.
After a couple hours working on the side yard, was able to get to the firewood stacks. The rows are 4ft tall and you can see the snow was even with the top.
Did an angel whisper in your ear and hold you close and take away your fear...In those long last moments
I don't have any really cool pics but it looks like this will end up being the 5th biggest storm in the last 100 years for us. We got about 27 inches here. The DPW announced their Sunday operations, which includes widening the streets. That means I'll probably get to reshovel the end of my driveway today. I've already got that pile 5 feet tall so it should be fun.
