My, my.... (Read 326 times)

My, my… As I have told you, the year is very long and some of you will not make it to the finish. Still, I approve of the way many of you are giving everything in order to keep up with me, especially the older ones. Runners who are no longer in the springtime of life see things from a different perspective than the kids still in college or high school. That does not mean that Pace Bunny dislikes kids. I enjoy watching the energy of youth; it reminds me of when I was but a little rabbit. Know that the passion that fuels your struggle changes over time, and becomes much harder to maintain as years pass. Well, we cannot all be pace bunnies can we? This is a struggle for distance, not speed. By focusing on the amount of ground covered instead of time, even the slowest among you can reach the upper levels of self-actualization. If you drop out because you have lost interest, then you were not worthy of lessons I have to teach you anyway. I am the voice inside you that keeps you coming back for more. As long as you can still hear my voice, there is hope that you can capture the moon. Do try to hold on to your passion, and your sanity, as I take you to the next level.
Come play my game, I'll test you...
    No days off
    No holidays
    No vacations
While you sleep in, I'm out there on the road.
Dude. Seriously? Shouldn't you be boiling eggs, collecting cheap plastic grass, and injecting mild milky chocolate eggs with some sort of hideous (and slightly perverse) unidentified creamy substance? Leave us the frig alone! (And by the way, you need to know that running everyday can lead to injury. Take a day off. Or four.) Allow me to introduce you to my good friend Glenn Close. (Best performance by a dead animal since the horse head in Godfather. Or Old Yeller? Bambi? Another topic for another thread? Favorite dead animal?) Do you really think you're going to get anywhere hanging out in a sweaty running forum? As far as memorable rabbits go, you're still looking up at lewis carroll's white one, grace slick's ode to, and that cartoon one with the wisecracks whose claim to fame was outsmarting a balding dimwitted simpleton with a speech impediment. What's up now, Doc?
This bugs me not bunny. Roll eyes By March I will be running like the hare and you will be history. Yes

You, you... I don't know what to think now. But you do sound similar to someone in this group. As of this post you haven't posted to the other groups like you usually do. Have you given up on them?
Oh booh, Mr. Bunny. Why so serious?

            Runners run.

            keep running.

Mr Pace Bunny, What do I do if I caught a flu that has me wiped out on my ass for a week? You want me to kick my legs in my sleep? I decided today that the pace bunny makes me sad. Does the Pace bunny ever get sick?
running until I hit 1900 miles for the year. whether fast or slow I will just run.
