Yeah, I am doing this again.  Put up or shut up was a year or so ago.  Let's just say that I don't give up that easily.  Same rules apply.

    • If you want in post a goal weight and your starting weight.
    • Weigh-ins will be weekly.  You can weigh yourself as often as you like but please just post one a week.
    • Week will be Monday - Sunday, starting Monday, January 6.
    • Last week will end Sunday, March 30.
    • If you missed the start and want to jump in any time feel free.

    Not at it at all.

I'll play. I weighed in at 173 this morning. Being sick has helped. Goal is <165. Which basically gets me back to where I started before all this injury nonsense.

      Feeling the growl again

Frick.  I will need to step on a scale.  No good can come of that.  OK, tomorrow.

I seem to do well with these when I'm running....then I get injured and fail on multiple levels.  If I get injured again I'm going to the pros this time, so there's that.

I've gained a little more weight during each and every one of these weight loss

I ran nearly 70 miles last week, watched what I ate and STILL gained a pound. This should be fun.

+1. Its only a 35 minute drive. Just sayin.

165 today. Oops. Better get on that then.

                    Prince of Fatness

188.8 this morning, up a little from New Year's eve.  I expected to be about the same as I did not really get back on the diet train until early this week.  Same goes for exercising.

                      Not at it at all.

At least I didn't gain any.

I've found that I basically need to run over 60mpw to lose weight . . . and my wife has to be away for work.

Finn, please add me to the thread.

                              Goal - 145

                              Start - 156

                              W1 - 156

How things change ... back in the day I used to run at 170-175 with short forays into the low 180's and felt I was in Adonnis-like shape when I was at 167.  Now, at 156 I feel like a stumbling, bumbling oaf out there.  Gotta get back down to sub-150, it feels so good to run at that weight.

                                W1: 171.

So....I can lose weight and still drink beer. It just requires running my highest-ever weekly mileage.
