Sounds like it's going to be a fun day tomorrow. Too bad the DW is dragging me to WI again. The SIL is doing her first half ironman Sunday so we're going up there to cheer her on. Hope you have plenty of ice to keep the beverages nice and cool. It's going to be a toasty one tomorrow.
Prince of Fatness
Have fun today. Run and chug well.
And get pictures.
Not at it at all.
Feeling the growl again
Have fun today. Run and chug well. And get pictures.
My liver has pre-race jitters.
There WILL be pictures...especially of anybody I manage to lap...
Calling for 90F at gun time. The track looks good....way better than last year.

Will Crew for Beer
The Beer Mile gives a whole new meaning to "recovery run".
Rule number one of a gunfight, bring a gun. Rule number two of a gunfight, bring friends with guns.
That's good shit right there.
Cool Jump Suit
That was a good time! And yes, new meaning to "recovery".
So bittersweet,This tragedyWon't ask for absolution; This melody,Inside of me,Still searches for solution.A twist of faith,A change of heart Cures my infatuation.A broken heart, Provides the sparkFor my determination.
Oh, and all I could think about today was taking the time down next time. I don't think next time can wait until next year. We had a person or two who wanted to run but could not make it on this date....I'm thinking of having another go at it when the weather cools off a bit....the track will be open....I'll probably still have Abita on tap....
MTA: I think I was the closest to puking this year. Immediately after crossing the line I was calling some dinosaurs but unfortunately I did not get rid of that nastiness to make room for more good beer.
i had designed and sourced unique awards months in advance. Then I went to order last month and found out the place had gone out of business. I had no time to go through the process again. So, here you go. The awards:

The place nearby that has the growler fill station has that Unibrou on draft. I sampled it last weekend. Mighty tasty. I had contemplated filling a growler with it for this weekend but at 9% ABV the stupid meter spins off the dial real quick, so I will pass.
