There might not be a Pace Bunny just yet, only 9 members (but we'll get there) try out the Reports section. I only started messing around with it today, it's possible to get stats for the members of the group and be sorted by name or distance, distance being the more useful sorting column.

You're right, doesn't look as good as the bunny but the reports have given me a few ideas. I'm thinking along the lines of monthly stats along the way, creating posts, highlighting the movers and shakers etc. Still early days but something to keep the interest.
