Thanks dave. I haven’t done that much training even in a whole year since 2008. However, I think I’ll do it again for the reunion mariposai’s planning for next year’s Light-at-the-end-of-the-Tunnel Marathon. You guys are such a bad influence. No wonder I love running so much .

    .

Robert - I did it my last time too and there were more than 50 of 'em this year too. Hope you are okay though, . . and at least made to the photo stop on Corral Pass with Mr. Rainier in the background. With climbing two moutains you picked a heck-of-a-run for your first one for the heck-of-it in a long time.  How does White River rank in all the other 333?

    .

ps - ilene gets so many PR's, including marathon and half mary earlier this year, that she probably forgot but I think her “two-more-lifetime-PR’s” in July (5K/15K) qualify for monthly recognition too.

    7/3 - Firecracker 5K (33:00) - barefoot 7/8 - Barefoot 5K Fun Run (trail - 56:04) - geta 7/9 - training run (5 miles) - barefoot 7/10 - training run (5 miles) - barefoot 7/11 - training run (5 miles) - barefoot 7/12 - training run (5 miles) - barefoot 7/15 - Light-at-the-end-of-the-Tunnel Marathon (5:36:59) - thongs 7/22 - Swedish SumerRun 10K (1:03:58) - thongs

June 2012 - 58.1 miles in three events.
(note: 55 miles in two events with Robert, . . . but he got done them in 8:20:26 hours vs. my 14:25:09.

    YTD - 177.5 miles

    ..

So Posie's DS-1 shows up for the Fremont 5K in the prison pants costume he got as a volunteer intern some years ago and says, "oh, I think I'll run barefoot too." I didn't bother to ask him how much barefoot training he'd done 'cause he's exactly like someone else I know <<<(that-would-be-me)>>> with regard to being not concerned one iota about training if there's fun to be had. Fortunately, he's like his parents in every other aspect.  Smile
