Good luck to those who are running it. Due to my own stupidity i didn't sign up in time. Forecast says light winds so it should be nice and hot
. Don't forget that you'll have the rolling hills once you get out from under H1.

Aloha a me mahalo! I am just about ready to head to the airport for a weekend in Honolulu and the Aloha Run. I really hope it isn't hot. After doing most of my running up in Volcano being cold and wet- I am not too sure I am ready for the heat, but at least I should be ready for any hills!

Have fun out there!! I hope I get to do it next year. Hawaii (Oahu) is officially on our "possible to be moved to" list. I am ridiculously excited!! I hope we get the chance. Good luck at GAR Holo!!

See you out there! I wish it were raining... that's the best!
I think if you run around here, you'll be ready for the 'hills'... not too bad at all.
Good luck everyone!!

Congratulations! I finished almost an hour after you @ 2:10, it isn't a great time, but I am doing the low heart rate training and I had to go really slow. I am SOOO not used to the heat! (plus I figure a really crappy time will be easy to beat next year!). However, while doing low heart rate training it is now official very very old people wearing slippers walk faster than I run!
