So My FIL is now raising his own Hens and Roosters..... We have been dumped on with eggs! I am a little worried about hard boiling them to eat..... Since these are " Yard Eggs" and no way to really tell if they are okay on the inside, do you think it best that they NOT be hard boiled for eating? I figure you might know, since you may purchase your eggs from the Farmers Market or whatever.....

Thanks in Advance for any help with this one.....

Hard boil them babies!  The main reason to make sure that boiled eggs are cooked through is the risk of salmonella.  That risk is essentially nil with real eggs like these.  Around the world, folks soft boil their eggs and enjoy em runny.

Oh, and send me some Wink

Ha! If there was a way to get em to you without breaking!

Awesome! This will indeed save some $$$ at the ole' grocery!

He's got 3 full grown hens right now, and a BUNCH of babies..... right now they are getting about 6-8 eggs a day, so you can imagine how quickly you need to give them away....

Almost seems like a shame to use eggs like these in egg salad.

Until you eat that egg salad.

But scrambled with whole milk and a bit of cheese, or fried on cast iron with cultured butter?

              DAMN!
