What races are you going to run in the near future?
"Stadiums are for spectators. We runners have nature and that is much better."

    Beware, batbear...

      Valentine's 5k in Black Mtn.

      Shamrock 10K

      Biltmore 15K.

Not sure what else.  Maybe a trail run in there somewheres.

      2012 Goals:

      1.  1100+ miles.

      2.  Streak starting in March or April if I'm healed.

      3.  100 Push up challenge to get some upper body strength back.

      4.  Get weight under 180 by the end of the summer.

      5.  1 or fewer alcoholic drinks 4+ nights per week every week.

      6.  Concentrate on 5K distance and September HM.

      7.  Have fun!

Hi Asheville peeps... I'm actually from Gastonia but have been driving up for some of the Asheville races and am hoping to do 10 of the Asheville Track Club Grand Prix races this year. The Hot Chocolate 10k was great!

I'm coming up for the Park Ridge Hospital Frostbite 5k on Sunday afternoon (02/21/10) and the Shamrock Run 10k (03/13/10). I did both last year. The Shamrock is especially tough with that huge hill for the first half then the steep drop-off coming back down the other side. The weather for it was miserable last year so; hopefully it won't be so bad this year.

Hey guys.  Heads up!  Asheville Half Marathon is $10 off, this month only.  It's kind of an expensive race, but the $10 off takes it down to $35.
